Legend of Zhajilamu:
According to legend, Zhajilamu was a beloved concubine of an emperor. Renowned for her beauty, she was tragically poisoned out of jealousy. Her lingering soul, still attached to the mortal world, refused to move on. A high monk performed rituals to guide her spirit, but after he left, she followed him all the way to Tibet, expressing her desire to devote herself to Buddhism. Since women were not allowed in monasteries, a temple was built for her in Zhaji, and she was given the name "Zhajilamu." She became a local deity, worshipped by the people for her blessings of health and safety. Over time, as outsiders who paid homage to her experienced flourishing businesses and increased wealth, she gradually came to be revered as the Goddess of Wealth.
